Helping you on your path to God and Wholeness.

Community Welcome

Welcome to the Tree of Life community where we wholeheartedly embrace all ages, genders and socioeconomic backgrounds on their path to God. Our sense of community is an ever growing and ongoing experiment.

Together, we learn what works and what doesn’t in terms of meeting needs; but at the end of the day, we remember our first love which is to seek, receive and share all of God’s blessings and promises. Join us on our course toward Abundant Living.

Treehouse

Every time we paint a room in the Tree House (facility for our upcoming children’s programs and nursery), it’s a time of pure joy!  Take a look! Folks are hard at work preparing the house for God’s little treasures. It’s been a work in progress for certain but a few more coats of paint, learning materials for children and some nursery furniture and we’ll be ready! Join us as we celebrate in anticipation of filling the Tree House with laughter, questions and curious young ones. To view posted work days, click on the Tree of Life Fellowship Calendar.

Tree of Life Gardening Club

One of Tree of Life’s newest members has a green thumb! Can you guess who it is? Yes! It’s none other than our very own Don Doss. It seems that Don’s recent cataract surgery has provided newly acquired perfect eyesight which will come in handy as he takes a closer look at starting a Garden Club here at Tree of Life Fellowship. Stay tuned for more details on how to join the club; topics of discussion, presentation and learning as well as hands on gardening; what’s in store for our church property and “natural” gift to our community as Don leads us toward beautifying the church grounds with which God has so richly blessed us. Check this “Community” page over the next few weeks for more information!

Blossom

Blossom is a ministry to, for and by women and literally means “a state of flowering with the purpose of producing healthy fruit”. As ladies in modern day western society, we have the desire to acquire noble character and learn the lost art of sincerely caring for one another. In order to blossom, we study, learn, share, pray, laugh and listen.

We do this in a unique setting and workable schedule for our productive lives. Beginning September 24, 2009, Blossom will begin book clubs which will meet once per month. Our first book we’ll read and discuss has to do with a time and place in the world when women took great care of one another. Join us as we explore “The Red Tent” by Anita Diamant. Come and explore the meaning of nurturing and compassion.

Please see the flyer for this event for more details.

Express Yourself

As you’re already aware, we took a break from Wednesday night activities/programs for most of the summer in order to conduct our pilot/move to our Sunday morning Worship Center at Meadowview Elementary. We are feeling the spiritual and social effects of not having our midweek Bible study and are serious about remembering our first love.

Thanks to one of our newest members, Gordon McGowan, we will resume Wednesday night Bible Study beginning in September. Gordon is an experienced and gifted Bible teacher and has agreed to present a survey of the Psalms we’re calling “Express Yourself”  You’re in for a treat as you join us on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the children’s Treehouse located on the church property.

Please see the flyer for this great Bible Study for more details.
